Description
14k yellow gold Art Nouveau necklace; a delicate foliate pattern surrounds two white Australian opals with good play of color. Three sections with rings allow graceful movement. Wearing against light colors allows the transparent nature of the opals to be apparent; worn against darker colors brings out the intensity of blue with green and red. The necklace is in very good condition. The attached cable chain is 16 inches long and approximately 2mm wide. To wear this is to glimpse the gracious past. Weight 2.7 dwt (4.5 grams). The permanently attached chain is stamped 14k on the spring ring clasp; the pendant has been goldsmith tested as 14 gold.
