Description
10k yellow gold Victorian hinged circle link bracelet is set with 5 Old Mine Cut diamonds, total weight estimated at .60 carats. (Diamonds were estimated by measurement while still set.) The diamonds are prong set into the circles within an old style “star” pattern. There are 14 round, slightly domed links ranging from approximately 12.5mm to 10mm wide, narrowest to the back of the bracelet. There is an old style pull through safety chain with a finishing ball at the back; the plunger clasp is hidden in a link. You can faintly see three initials engraved in Old English style on three links: it appears to be S M D. It appears that 5 numbers are stamped on the underside of clasp. I cannot make them all out and I do not know the significance. Weight is 9.4 dwt (14.6 grams). This is a lovely memory from the Victorian times that yet looks timeless, day or night. The bracelet is in very good condition and lays low on the wrist. The construction is very smooth and comfortable. There is no 10k stamp, but the gold karat has been tested and verified by a goldsmith.
